Below are the directions to some of our opposition.

Altrincham Kersal

Address: Kersal Drive, Stelfox Ave, Timperley

OS Map Ref: SJ 793 893

Directions: Follow the A56 towards Altrincham. At the M56/A556 roundabout take the first left, still on the A56, signposted Manchester. After approx. 2 miles , at some traffic lights with the Cresta Court Hotel diagonally opposite, turn right onto the A560. Continue on the A560 for 1.5 miles to the first roundabout. Take the 1st exit then immediately right into Stelfox Ave. The club is 200 yds further on. Parking may be a problem!

Broughton Park

OS Map Ref: SJ 825 932

Directions: Take the M56 to Manchester. At M56 J3 follow the signs for Manchester A5103 (straight on). Follow A5103 for 3 miles then left at Mauldeth Road West (Princess Pub). The ground is 3/4 mile on right.

Caldy

Address: Paton Field, Lower Caldy, Cross Roads, West Kirby

Directions: Use the M56 west then M53 north leaving at J4. Take the 2nd exit towards Heswall. After 4 miles merge onto the A551 and immediately turn right, at the roundabout, onto the A540, signposted to Hoylake. Carry on for approx. 5 miles, passing through Heswall and Thurstaton. After passing through a sandstone cutting the club will be another 1/2 mile on the right.

Chester

Address: Vicars Cross, Chester Map

OS Map Ref: SJ 438 669

Directions: Take the M56 West then M53 towards Chester. At the first junction stay on the M53, which changes to the A55. Leave at the next junction, taking the first exit from the roundabout, onto the A51, signposted Nantwich. Take the first turning on the left. The club is 200 yds further on, on the left.

Crewe and Nantwich

Address: Vagrants Sports Club, Newcasle Road, Willaston, Nantwich

OS Map Ref: SJ 675 5

Directions: Take the M6 south, leaving at J16. Take the A500 towards Nantwich, passing through Hough and bypassing to Shavington. The club is another 1.5 miles past Shavington on the left. The club entrance is directly off the A500.

Eccles

Address: Gorton Street, Peel Green, Eccles, Manchester

OS Map Ref: SJ 754984

Directions: Go through Lymm centre towards Partington. Cross over the Warburton Toll Bridge then take the A57 towards Manchester. Keep on the A57 until you reach the M60 J11. At the M60 roundabout continue on the A57 towards Manchester taking 2nd road on the left into Gorton St, signposted to Eccles RUFC. The club is at the very end of this street.

Hoylake

Address: Melrose Avenue, Hoylake, Wirral

Directions Take the M56 West then M53 North leaving at J2 onto the Moreton Spur. At the roundabout at the end of the spur take the 3rd exit, signposted A551 Moreton, to merge onto the A road. After 1/2 mile, at a roundabout, turn left onto A553 Hoylake. After 1 1/2 mile you pass Meols station. Just over one mile further on at the first roundabout, turn left towards Hoylake station and Hoylake Rugby Club. Continue over level crossing into Carr Lane and an industrial estate. The road swings sharp left then sharp right. Take second left into Carham Road. The club is at the end of this road.

Leigh

Address: Round Ash Park, Beech Walk, Leigh, Lancashire

OS Map Ref:

Directions Take the M6 north, leaving at J22 - the first past the M62 interchange. Follow the A579 towards Leigh. After 1.5 miles turn right at lights onto the A572. Go straight through the next set then, on reaching the A580 ("East Lancs Road"), turn right towards Manchester. At first lights turn left and follow road for about 1 mile to next set. Turn right then take 3rd road on right into Beech Walk (50 yds before a Pedestrian Crossing). Pass the cricket club on the left. The club is at the end of this road.

Macclesfield

Address: Priory Park, Priory Lane, Prestbury, Macclesfield

OS Map Ref: SJ 894 743

Directions Take the A50 through Knutsford. At Knutsford take the A537 from Knutsford towards Macclesfield. Stay on this road, crossing over the A535 and A34, until you start to enter Macc. Turn left at the first roundabout, close to a car salesroom. Turn left at the next mini- roundabout, signposted to a leisure centre. Follow the road past the Leisure Centre and then past Fallibroome High School, the club entrance is on your left.

Manchester

Address: Grove Park, Grove Lane, Cheadle Hume

OS Map Ref: SJ 874844

Directions Take the M56 towards Manchester, leaving at J5 (Man Airport). Follow signs for Manchester Airport Terminal 1 (T1). At the roundabout at end of the Airport Spur take the 2nd exit to Wythenshawe and Heald Green, this takes you past the Airport. At the traffic lights at the end of the road, immediately after the Moss Nook Restaurant, turn left onto the B5166 follow signs for Gatley, Cheadle and Heald Green, then after ½ mile turn right at traffic lights (signposted Heald Green and Cheadle). Follow the road for 1 mile, at traffic lights by the Griffin pub get into the right hand lane and turn right on to the B5358. Follow the road for 1 mile and at the traffic lights by the Belfry Hotel (signposted Stanley Green Retail and Industrial Park) turn left onto the B5094(Stanley Road). Follow the road for ¾ mile, you will come to a roundabout on the A34 (Handforth bypass), go straight across the roundabout and the club entrance is on the right immediately after The Smithy pub.

Mold

OS Map Ref:

Directions Take the M56 east until it ends just past Chester. Continue towards North Wales on the A5117 and A550. After passing through a 50mph zone near Connahs Quay the road climbs a long hill before merging into the A55 (you have the right of way). Immediately after this junction join the left hand lane for Mold A5119. After 1.5 miles turn left at roundabout onto A494. At next roundabout take 4th exit towards Mold. After 1/4 mile turn right into small retail park. Club is opposite KwikSave.

Northwich

Address: Moss Farm Leisure complex, Winnington, Northwich

OS Map Ref:

Directions From the M56, turn off on Junction 10 and take the A49 towards Whitchurch. At the first traffic lights turn left onto the A533 towards Northwich. Go through Barnton village and turn right at the next traffic lights to go over the River Weaver, still on the A533. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights onto Moss Road and then right again onto Firdale Road, all the time following signs for Moss Farm Recreation Centre.

Ormskirk RFC

Address: Green Lane, Ormskirk. Lancs

OS Map Ref:

Directions: Depart on Crouchley Lane, Turn right onto Mag Lane, Turn right onto A50. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A50 Cliff Lane, At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A50. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto M56 J9 continue straight ahead onto M6 exit to the left onto M58 J6. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto M58 exit to the left onto M58 J3, at the roundabout, take the third exit onto A570. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A570 bear left onto Slip Road, bear left onto A570 Park Road. Turn right onto Green Lane and you will arrive at Ormskirk RFC

Orrell

Address: Edge Hall Road, Orrell, Wigan WN5 9TL

OS Map Ref:

Directions Take M6 North. Leave M6 at J26, take exit signposted Orrell. At first traffic lights turn left on A577, at second traffic lights turn left onto Moor Road (B5206), at third traffic lights turn left onto Church Street. After about 1/4 mile turn left into Edge Hall Road. Preston Grasshoppers Address: OS Map Ref: Directions Take M6 N exiting M6 Junction 32. Follow signs for Garstang. At end of slip road turn left towards Preston. 50 Yards turn left & follow singns for Ingol. Club Approx 1/2 mile on the right.

Rochdale RFC

Address: Moorgate Avenue, Rochdale. Lancashire. OL11 5LU

OS Map Ref:

Directions M62 Junction 20, follow A627M to Rochdale. At the end of the motorway keep left for town centre. At next roundabout (Tesco on left) follow A6452 to Blackburn. Down and up the hill to tarffic lights, turn left and the club is third right - Moorgate Avenue at the top of the avenue.

Sandbach

Address: Bradwell Road, Sandbach

OS Map Ref: SJ 756 617

Directions Head S on the M6 leaving at J17. From the slip road turn right towards Sandbach. After 200-300m turn right into Congleton Rd, signposted Sandbach Town Centre. After 1/2 mile bear right onto Offley Rd and finally after another 200m turn sharp right into Bradwell Rd. The Club is about 1/4 mile on the right.

Stockport

Address: The Memorial Ground, Headlands Rd, Bramhall

Directions Take the M56 Manchester, then M60 Stockport. Leave at J2 (Cheadle) (old M63 J11). At the roundabout turn right towards Cheadle. Turn left at the next lights. Follow this road for approx. 1.5 miles until you reach a small roundabout. Carry straight on (2nd exit). After another half mile you come to lights at a T junction with the A5102 (Davenport Station opposite). Turn right. Stay on the A5102 for one mile, turning left , onto the A5143, at the second roundabout. Finally take the 2nd road on the right. The club is at the end.

Vale of Lune

Address: Vale of Lune R.U.F.C., The Clubhouse, Powderhouse Lane, Lancaster LA1 2TT

Directions Take M6 North. Leave at J34 towards Lancaster Follow signs for A589 to Morecambe Approx 0.5 miles after crossing River Lune, turn right down Scale Hill Left at junction - ground is 50 yards on the right Whitchurch Address: Edgeley Park, Whitchurch, Salop SY13 1EH OS Map Ref: Map Directions Take M6 South to J16. A500 to Nantwich and A530 to Whitchurch (becomes A525 ringroad south of town. At roundabout for A41/A49 turn right (traffic calming area). Ground is on right after Sir John Talbot School and opposite cricket club.

Waterloo

Address: St Anthony's Road, Blundellslands, Liverpool, L23 8TW

OS Map Ref:

Directions Take M6 north, M62 west, M57 north. At junction M57/58, take A5036 west towards Crosby and Docks, turn right at 1st traffic lights (by Police Station). Immediately bear right, keeping on main road around perimeter of housing estate. Straight ahead at 1st lights, turn left at 2nd lights towards Liverpool A565. Through lights and several pedestrian crossings, turn right at roundabout turn, through housing estate, turn left at T-junction, immediately right and bear right. Straight ahead at roundabout, along St Michael's Road to cross roads by Church. Ground is 100 yards on right.

Wilmslow

Address: Memorial Ground, Kings Road, Wilmslow

Directions Take the M56 Manchester, leaving at J 6. Join the A538 towards Wilmslow, passing through the Manchester Airport tunnels. Carry on for a further 2 miles until you start to enter the outskirts of Wilmslow. Just past the Texaco petrol station turn left into Kings Rd. If you reach the Boddington Arms you’ve just missed it! The club is approx. another 1/4 mile at the end of this road.

Winnington Park

Address: Burrows Hill, Hartford, Northwich

Directions Take the M56 west leaving at J10. Take the A49 towards Whitchurch. After approx. 5 miles, at the first set of lights, turn left onto the A533 towards Northwich. Follow the A533 through Barnton, then right over a narrow swingbridge. After another 1/2 mile turn right, at some lights, near a garden centre. Carry on for another mile before taking a left turn into Borrows Hill (signposted Winnington Park RUFC) The club 400 yds further on, on the left.

Wirral

Address: Memorial Ground, Thornton Common Ground, Clatterbridge

OS Map Ref:

Directions Use the M56 west then M53 north leaving at J4. Take the first exit towards Clatterbridge Hospital. You will also see the start of signs to the club! Go past Clatterbridge Hospital on your right, at one point crossing an island with a garage in the middle. Approx. 1/2 mile past the garage, you will see the ground on the left. Turn left just past the grounds. The club is 200 yds further on, on the left.
